Amity Interns

Cristina Quintanilla is from Lourdes Colón, El Salvador. She's 25 years old and studying English Language Arts. Cristina has a lot of experience teaching English to children from different age groups. She likes to spend her time volunteering as an English teacher to help her community. She also likes to play basketball and read. She's excited to try new foods and enjoy new Holiday traditions with her host families.

Elmer Argueta is from Ciudad Barrios, El Salvador. He's 23 years old with a Bachelor's degree in Modern Languages. Elmer's hobbies include drawing, playing sports, and the outdoors. He's excited to show BV students traditional Salvadoran customs as well as poems and tales written by Salvadoran artists. Elmer would also like to teach traditional games played during recess.

Julia Vozmediano is from Soria, Spain. She is 21 years old and studying Primary School Education. Julia likes reading, hiking and running, so she's very excited to explore Eugene's outdoors in her free time. She would like to share her previous teaching experience with the students at BV, and to gain as much knowledge from BV staff in order to become a better teacher.

Laura Ortega is from Valladolid, Spain. She's 22 years old with a major in Primary School Education. Laura loves singing and dancing so she can't wait to teach the students at BV traditional Spanish songs and dances. She's looking forward to sharing her passion for teaching and enthusiasm for Spanish culture with the BV community.
