The BVPO is the parent organization for Buena Vista Spanish Immersion School.


May Elections for 2022-2023 are right around the corner! Bilingual parents are strongly encouraged!

  • Amity Coordinator Chair

  • Interpretation & Translation Coordinator

Even if you can’t commit to one of these elected positions, there are plenty of other non-elected, volunteer opportunities next year within our committees of

  • Library, Amity

  • Fundraising

  • Cultural Development

BVPO cannot exist without your help. Please take a minute to review our VIsion, Mission, Values and Goals.


BVPO contributes to our school in many ways:

  • Organizing parent volunteer time for important school activities & cultural exchange (Carnival, Library, OBOB, ect.)

  • Grade Level Representation

  • Classroom Resources & Teacher Appreciation

  • AND AMITY INTERNS!

(Assistant teachers from Spain, Colombia and other native spanish speaking countries)


BVPO exists in order to:

  • Provide our school with additional educational assistance and cultural competency via the AMITY program!

  • Connect families with the school so that together we can enrich our community.

  • Fundraise more than $50,000 per year in order to provide these programs and resources.
